Marine Virtual Environment

The third in a series of large-scale landscapes for Regal Rexnord, this environment focused on the marine industry - a port environment featuring several types of ships with plans to expand later in the year, focusing on looking into drivetrains and winches. I started this project in early Spring 2024, basing the environment on the port of Seattle.

I built the landscape from scratch, utilising a pallet of textures & displacement, with forest pack for foliage & other scatter objects. The ships and other port assets were approved models purchased by Regal Rexnord for the project, taken through octane with custom materials.

The environment would consist of a series of still images connected together by animated transitions.
